Meh. I think it's almost a certainty that Karl-Anthony Towns signs an extension with Minnesota either this summer or next.

Seems like every two to three years the Knicks have money and are supposedly going to sign up the best guys...and than they bring in the borderline tier 2 free agents or tier 3. Expect them to go hard at some of the top players than sign guys like Sabonis and Hield to expensive 2-3 year contracts so they can do it again in 2026.

And instead of recognizing the reality that they'd have to ship Thibodeau out of town on a high-speed train before KAT would even consider going there, they speculate that their relationship is better and they point to the weird quote from Karl saying his forgives Thibs. It's a near certainty that KAT will stay in Minnesota for a long time. If he ever leaves, it won't be to play for the Knicks. This is one of the dumbest articles I've ever seen.

Lip to be fair Rosas was very close to Towns in NBA summer league. I saw it live and in person. My sources say that Towns and Rosas haven't been that close in months so...

Maybe the Knicks will hire Ryan Saunders as an assistant coach and sign Ricky Rubio in the offseason? Oh and hire that big man development coach the Wolves let go that Towns wasn't happy about. Oh and then hire coach Cal to be the Knicks head coach. THEN I may actually be worried about Towns wanting to go to the Knicks.
