There's no reason to keep him at that salary. It's why you wanted Josh Richardson. Nowell just can do more than hit a 3 pointer.

Gotta get a solid return for him though. He's been one of the five or six best volume 3 point shooters in the league for the past two years (notwithstanding his rocky 1st half of the season).

Well, Damian Lill-- I mean, Anfernee Simons and Portland's bench made it interesting tonight, but the Wolves put their foot down when it mattered late in the fourth quarter. Another All-NBA effort from Karl-Anthony Towns. D'Angelo Russell posted a career-high 15 assists and really managed the game well. Jaden McDaniels and Jarred Vanderbilt were active and solid contributors on both ends of the floor. Gutty effort from Jaylen Nowell and Jordan McLaughlin off the bench. Another [important] win. We'll take every one of those we can get down the stretch.
