No kidding! What they've done in Miami is incredible.

Nailed it Q, these guys find and develop players at an incredible rate.

Vando and Prince are both tough as nails players. We just need another PF who can bring a similar edge and play big minutes.

We need a PF that won't let B. Clarke go nuts when the season is on the line.

Cool - What current NBA players - free agents or realistic trade targets - would you put in that bucket of tough, starter quality bigs to pair with KAT?

Lip, I haven't taken the time to scour the league for prospects. But the two who come to mind are Grant Williams and Bobby Portis. Either would be great fits for this role.

Those are a couple good examples. You might recall I wanted the Wolves to sign Portis before he ended up going to Milwaukee. Instead, Rosas re-signed Juancho.

Advanced stats are stupid.

Ok fine I'm joking about the advanced stats. :) That offseason I kept bringing up advanced stats and also some fans take on Portis and some legit issues they had with his play on other teams. I was not against signing him at all more presenting a counterpoint of information. I liked Juancho more than most but I wouldn't have signed him to the deal he got although the non guaranteed 3rd year saved the deal.

Portis with the Bucks has been a good player and the advanced stats agree! :) I'm not that surprised but I also have to ask if he would have become that player here or with other franchises. I would have been happy to have found out. I'm also happy for Portis and the Bucks that there has been mutual success. It also helps that Vanderbilt emerged as a legit rotation player. Hopefully the Wolves can sign someone worthwhile this summer maybe even someone who could surprise like Portis. I don't think they will be able to afford Portis who one option if he wants to stay in Milwaukee is to opt out and sign another 1 plus 1 with the Bucks so he will have full Bird rights and they can pay him the following season if both sides want to do that.

Another great game by Wiggins tonight. I think he's going to get a ring this year. To me the greatest trait a player can have is to play his best when the lights are the brightest. The moment isn't too big for Andrew.

I'm disappointed that Dallas can't make this a series (I think it has a lot to do with not being able to hide the offensively-brilliant Doncic on defense), but I'm happy to see Wig step up and play the way he has. He frustrated me while he was a T-Wolf and did not play well in the Houston playoff, but this is a different Wig we are seeing now. He underachieved when he was here, but he seems like a good guy so I'm happy for his success with the Warriors.

Fit is huge for players. Wiggins always had incredible gifts and the ability to take over for spurts, but was never cut to be the first option. He is coming into his own with their system and the only expectation being that he compliments a system. Hes doing a hybrid of the harrison barnes and Igoudala roles for them in a really excellent way. Still a lot to pay for that on a team but I agree that it may be enough to help get them a ring.
