For some reason he didn't quite sound like himself. May be I'm so used to him and Mark Jackson riffing off each other.

Yeah, it was just him and a play-by-play lady I don't think I've heard him work with before. I feel like I've mostly heard him work with a play-by-play guy and then both him and Jackson as two color guys. And they were having audio issues earlier in the game too, and that seemed to throw everybody off.

Kyrie Irving with a masterful performance, but it wasn't quite enough. He has to be one of the greatest shot making guards to ever play the game. Not quite a 2-way stud though and he did give up some buckets on the other end.

Only 10 points scored in the first 6 minutes of the 4th quarter! This is hideous!

I've watched a handful of Nets games this year, their inability to get stops in end of game situations should be alarming. The Celtics can lock down when push comes to shove. I don't think the Nets have that switch.

This is where getting Ben Simmons healthy and ready to play could make a huge difference. He is an absolutely perfect compliment to Durant and Irving - two high usage guys that can shoot and score. He would take some of the ball handling pressure off them and be a huge help defensively. Just not sure time is on their side.

It's really something that Simmons hasn't been able to play yet. It's not completely shocking considering his injury history but yeah. Even if he can come back in time to play in the postseason how effective will he be even defensively? Offensively I think they could be worse with him playing because if he is rusty he could actually hurt them on that end. Will he be willing to play a lesser role on offense?

The Dallas-Utah game tonight is a lot of fun to watch.
