The Wolves don't have another big SF on the roster right now other than McDaniels so Prince brings something neither of those other guys does. To me if the Wolves don't resign Prince they should be looking to sign another competent SF or combo forward to replace him. As Q noted the pickings are kinda slim unless some teams turn some guys loose that have team options.

I'm totally on board moving Beasley and I probably want Nowell to get his shot about as much as anyone but I don't mind having the problem of too many players that I think can actually play. The Wolves have guys with injury history including Russell, Beverly and if he returns Prince. That was one of the reasons the Wolves kept winning this season was their depth.

Yeah it just seems like 30 mil (assuming prince will command 12-15 ballpark) is a lot to dedicate to Beas and Prince when we still don't necessarily have a starting 4.

How about making a run at TJ Warren if his there's a positive medical report on his foot?

I'm excited to watch the Celtics-Bucks game tonight. I really like both teams. I'll be pulling for the Bucks, but I won't be disappointed if the Celtics force a game 7.

If Prince commands that much then I congratulate him and move to play B or C or H or whatever. Like Lip I'm more in the 8-9 million range for Prince or 10 million on a 1 year deal. Beasley to me is a sunk cost I'm not basing whether I spend money on another player because he is on the roster. Same with Russell. I'm working within the confines (Mid-level is the most we can spend on a FA whether we didn't Prince or we don't) that we have now and that's fine because I think we can add to the roster that way. Neither Russell or Beasley is likely to bring back worthwhile salary relief or some sort of massive improvement to the roster so yeah.

I've liked Warren for a while he might be a guy I'd be interested in if Prince doesn't resign. I have no idea what the Market for Warren might be if he is even healthy which is a big question unfortunately.

Jokic won the League's MVP award again this year. But watching tonight's Bucks-Celtics game reminds me that Giannis is the best player in the League. He's a force of one in the mold of Michael Jordan and LeBron - a player who is almost unstoppable. Jokic and Embiid are both great players, but neither one is quite as good as Giannis.

Agree, but Tatum one-upped him tonight. What a display of shot making by JT tonight.

Giannis really misses Middleton and the cracks are starting to show. Jrue is awesome, but he forces up a lot of tough shots trying to generate offense against a stout Celtics defense.

I'm just posting just to say let's not overreact to the wolves got robbed in the warriors trade based on 1 good Wiggins game

I don't understand the dig at Wiggins and why you choose his worst game to make a point. He looked good tonight in a close out game, making key shots when the game was close and playing good defense. Wiggins has shot 50% in ten playoff games for the Dubs. Remind me what DLO shot.

These teams have the same record and the Bucks are playing without arguably their 2nd best player. The Celtics are playing without Robert Williams but obviously Middleton is a bigger loss. The Bucks basically have 2 shot creators in Giannis and Jrue and that's a lot to ask especially against a good defensive team like Boston. Giannis is really trying to do it all. Meanwhile Boston has multiple guys that can create shots for themselves and/or others. Also it feels like with other young players doing well Tatum still gets overlooked somehow. That dude is a star and a hell of an all around player.
