What a great game by Andrew Wiggins. He's had a great series and terrific playoffs. But in this game especially he's phenomenal. He's playing like the player Flip believed he was drafting. I'm happy for Andrew. Yes, he's played with terrific terrific teammates. But credit Wiggins. He's earned all the praise he's getting and then some.

Well for the 5th or 6th option (as some of you have said), Wig is sure occupying center stage in these playoffs. He's also playing such good defense that he's getting more minutes than those 5 or 6 options ahead of him. Who was our 6th option this year, Beasley? Yeah I'd rather have Wig. I'd actually rather have Wig than our 3rd option who couldn't stay on the court in the first round. But I guess a handful of Wolves fans on a message board know better.

That also includes the 47-win season where Jimmy Butler did the heavy lifting while Wiggins hid in the corner. I guess things were just going to magically click for the guy in year seven and eight and we just didn't have enough patience waiting for him to turn it around after half a decade of poor results. We should have continued building with him despite the losses piling up. What a logical sentiment, especially after the relatively successful year this franchise just had. Good take, Cool. Two thumbs up.

My take on the Wiggins thing...he was a special player. I loved Wiggins. Nothing pissed me off more than folks (some here) saying he was lazy, or that he sucked on defense, or that he couldn't be a go to guy.

We are in the same situation today with DLO. Is anyone worth their contract? Probably not. But do we have another steady player capable of stepping up, that is highly underrated on portions of this board defensively for whatever un analytical reasons you can think of in DLO? Absolutely.

I actually have known a lot of you for a long time (early ESPN). Wiggins is a very good player. DLO is a very good player.

The trade got both players out of towns that hadn't figured out how to leverage their unique skills.

The only embarrassing thing here is you continuing to pound the table for a guy that led the organization into the lottery nearly every year he was on the payroll. He's gone. The organization moved on and objectively got better -- not coincidentally. I just can't understand the continuous bitching from those that share your view after the team improved in large part because of that trade. I guess you prefer the ping pong balls.

Tatum reminds me a lot of KAT when things aren't going his way. Seeking/selling fouls then getting in the refs face instead of getting back, feeling pressure to "be the man" and then taking horrible shots / turning it over during critical stretches. I haven't seen a lot of him this year, but I'm very underwhelmed by what I've seen from Tatum in the Heat and warriors series.

Wiggins has played fantastic.

Gary Payton with 15 points in this game he has been good in his return from injury and I love to see it.

GS has 3 HOFers and that's the hard pet of building a team but the rest of the roster has a few interesting stories of guys that weren't exactly valued that highly or GS got them for value. Otto Porter is starting NBA finals games.
