OT - Surgery Tomorrow

Post by Coolbreeze44 »

Hey guys, the right knee is being replaced tomorrow. Will have the left done later in the year. Would appreciate any encouragement or pointers from anyone who has been through it. Thanx

Yes, good luck Cool. Most of us aging athletes have knee and/or hip replacements in our future, and the technology keeps getting better. 95% of my friends with replacements have had a positive experience, and the ones who didn't likely weren't diligent with their rehab. Take it seriously. In a month you're going to be really happy you did this!

Cool, best of luck on your surgery, hoping you have a speedy recovery and can be active again in the near future.

That's the idea KG. There is some hope that it may only have to be a partial replacement. Won't know until I wake up. But that would make the recovery a little easier. Thanks for the thought.

Thanks Kek. Yeah, I'm going to have more time on my hands for a while. Is it okay if I talk out of my ass about something so Cam wastes his time researching to prove me wrong? LOL. We're cool, he's just really fun to spar with.
