Yep congrats to Kat, also the Wolves are getting fortunate in when Kat super max extension. Kat super max will kick in a year before the NBA TV deal expires and the cap will go up a ton. Dane Moore tweeted in Kat last year of the super max in 27-28 Kat will make 58.4 million that year but it is equivalent to 42.1 million in 21-22 based on the cap projections of the new TV Deal. So the Wolves will end up saving about 16.3 million against the cap because of when Kat super max will kick in.

Really fortunate for the Wolves and once again congrats to Kat.

I mean Kat is easily the 3rd best center in the NBA who cares if he whines. CP3, lebron, Luka, Jokic all whine a ton. I agree it's not aesthetically pleasing but he has talented.

Dane does a pretty good job explaining next offseason realistically is the last year the wolves will have cap space in the Kat and Ant era.

Kat and Ant all take up about 65% of the cap from 2024 onward

True, but KAT adds the flailing, pouting, and terrible body language. And he still hasn't proven he can win anything.
