Here's a report I just read:
The NBA has not added a new team in almost two decades, but the next round of expansion could be coming soon. During an appearance on 93.3 KJR, longtime columnist John Canzano reported that Seattle and Las Vegas have "already been earmarked" for expansion by the NBA. According to Canzano, the expansion is set to happen after the league's current media rights deal expires in 2024. - via Matt Hladik @ The Spun
This news should help alleviate much of the concern some have about the possibility that Lore and A-Rod might move the Wolves out of MN. Expansion into Vegas and Seattle will leave Lore and A-Rod with few if any viable destinations for the team. I suppose Baltimore, St. Louis and Kansas City are possible destinations, but I don't see it happening.

This will most likely get the Wolves moved to the Eastern Conference as well. Out of all teams, the Wolves are furthest from their division foes.

Memphis and New Orleans are more eastern, however, you are right about proximity to other eastern teams. I am probably in the minority, but I hope the Wolves stay in the West.

Didn't Glen pretty much break this news a while ago? Lol I guess that was only about Seattle getting team but obviously another team would follow. Vegas makes sense for the other team they are really adding up the pro sports teams there. If flights keep being cheap to go there in the future I may fly and go to some other sporting events throughout the year.

This would likely mean the Wolves would be moved to the Eastern Conference, where geographically they belong.
Would love to see the return of the Seattle Supersonic and Vancouver Grizzlies.

Lip I've considered going this year but right now I'm leaning towards skipping this summer and going another year.

The more I think about this the more I think the wolves should be looking to trade the likes of Beasley, Nowell, Naz, Vando, bolmaro, etc.. for a bigger piece.
It expansion is incoming wolves are going to lose some of those guys too the expansion teams
