He stuck it in the faces of every Minnesota fan who helped run him out of town. This is sweet.

He would of never done this in Minnesota. He ran himself out because of his play and effort.

Congrats to him though, good dude wish he put consistent effort as a wolves player

Nonsense poopy pants. He has the most maturity of any of the top players we've had in here. He could win in a lot of places.

I don't agree with your first comment. Maybe Wiggs would have blossomed under Finch. We'll never know. But Wiggs didn't run himself out of town. You love Thibs and even Thibs praised Wiggs competitiveness. He was just a convenient scapegoat and the DLO trade was epically horrible.

Those kind of arguments can go on forever with no end in sight. Fact is Wigs is a Champion and he won it as the 2nd best player on the team. You replace wigs with a prime Harrison Barnes, a prime Batum or Roco and there is no guarantee that the warriors win the series. Wigs defense on Tatum was THE key all series and him carrying the warriors to victory in game 5 bring all momentum to the warriors in their eventual game 6 win. I can guarantee that Barnes, Batum and Roco at their prime will never have the game 5 Wigs had and is likely to not have the success wig had in defending Tatum and have the series and playoff run Wig had.

I hope this don't turn into a Wig/dlo debate again as it is not my intention. I'm a fan of both players btw. Lets just give credit where its due. Wiggins is the 2nd best player on a nba championship team. Congratulations to the Warriors.

Wiggins is forever a dog who needed 3 3 time champions to show him that playing hard every night should be expected.

If that's what it took to get him to even be a solid 4th option, this team never stood a chance, because that team has the kind of culture this franchise may never have. Hell, the Warrior didn't even necessarily start with drafting Curry. It was by selling the team to Lacob.

The moral of this run is that this is a franchise that will never win in the court of public opinion and it will take Lore and A-Rod being majority owners to even begin to wipe that slate clean. The players must embrace being the villain because they'll never win an argument. This season was a step in that direction thanks to Pat Bev. Lean into it, and going forward, no matter how talented the player is, no matter the upside, if that player needs to be "shown the way," show them the way out, because this is unfortunately not Golden State. This isn't a place to teach slackers how to win. Get 15 guys who think they know the route to a title instead of guys who need direction. If not, Wiggins won't be the last Wolves castaway to win a title.

P.S. congrats to Bjelica.

Gary Payton II won a Championship younger than his dad did.

Gotta give credit to Wiggins for the job he did defensively. Very impressive. I think the hole in Tatum's game is that he doesn't have a great first step, so if you can stay in front of him and match his length and strength, he can be slowed down. Wiggins did just that.

I tend to agree with the sentiment that Wiggins was put in the absolute perfect environment for him to succeed, and to his credit, he stepped up in the playoffs. It just didn't work in Minnesota after 6 seasons of losses and frustration and the Wolves and Golden State are better off for that trade. Reasonable people can agree to disagree on this point.

I will be very interested to see how Wiggins does if indeed he goes and signs a big deal with another team as a #1A or #1B type player and no longer has Steph Curry, Draymond Green, and Steve Kerr around.
