I'm interested to see if KG will play one final year or if these last 2 months are it for him. Obviously not expecting big production but I think he certainly will energize his teammates. Wiggins and Rubio seem pumped about it. And hey, maybe he can get his teammates to buy in on D. Nothing else has worked.

I would love a vet min year from KG. He owes us that I think. There is zero downside to him doing that, even just to alter the intensities of the practices.

Why does he owe us that?

And what does this mean for the Taylor/Garnett relationship? It had to be icy with Taylor's ridiculous comments during Garnett's departure. It was one of the most reviled things this lousy franchise has ever done.

Is all cool now? Does it signal that Taylor is on his way out?

AP Source: The Timberwolves are not bringing KG back for just this year. They want to do a 2-year extension with him.

Technically he owes us nothing. I think it would be a great gesture to the fans though since he is going to be gifted minority ownership with an inside track to buy the team, because he brought us to one WCF. KG will eventually own the team. I believe Jalen Rose when he made the prediction. He wouldn't just say shit like that.
