That move Harden did on Rubio really wasn't that impressive to me. He jumped to 1 side, then the other, slipping the 2nd time. It wasn't your typical move that literally crossed up the defender causing them to fall.

Why did Payne get 15 shots up tonight? Holy moly.

How many games did Young have with similar shooting percentages and not sniffing 10 boards ?

Wiggins shot 50%, the rest of the team shot 28%. That's not going to cut it.

He was lost on D most the game, nice highlight block but he gave up his share of points. Gotta love his upside should he put it all together though.

Those turnovers were killers. Protect the ball and the Wolves might have won in spite of their horrendous shooting. But can't overlook the poor shooting either.

Rubio had 5 turnovers, but he's our PG and is the only bona fide ball-handler in our offense. He also compensated for those turnovers with 4 steals and 9 rebounds. Martin's turnovers were particularly unacceptable. He had 6 of them, which is totally unacceptable from a SG who doesn't have substantial ball-handling responsibilities. He had only 1 steal and 1 rebound. Yes, he had 21 points, but those points came on 28% shooting from the field. We need Martin's shooting, but he has to do a much better job protecting the ball.

Good to see Payne get 10 boards in 29 minutes. He even hit a 3. I hope he shows some signs before the end of the season.

Bleed, you're not doing it right. Once you have stated your disapproval for a trade, you can only cite facts that support your position. Not mentioning the fact that Payne went 4-15 from the field is unacceptable, and not in accordance with the unstated rules of this board. Please reconsider your assessment of Payne last night!

All kidding aside, the jury is still out on the Payne for a pick deal, and will be for some time...should be a good talker for a long time. I liked some things that I saw from him last night, but 4-15 is just not going to cut it. What, has he been taking lessons from Pek on how to finish? Ricky had nine assists, but how many does he have if Pek and Payne converted a reasonable percentage of the chances they had. I think Payne was pushing too much last night, and it showed in his shots around the basket. Flip needs to make it perfectly clear to him what his role is...to play tough defense, rebound, and play within himself on offense, but to always recognize that he ranks behind the other starters in terms of offensive priority.

LST - I have to pull for him now that he is in our uniform. Hoping for the best. The pick is gone. Also not feeling as good about this draft as I was a few weeks ago. Russell has cooled off. Towns is up and down. Stanley has not taken it to the next level.
