Going to do my best to stay away from the Zach topic for a while. I'll just be biting down hard on my knuckles from time to time.

Ouch! Yeah, probably a good idea...we clearly saw Zach's defense last night quite differently. Like most differences of opinion, the truth probably lies somewhere in between.

(but closer to my opinion :) )

Goran Dragic is a -10 after 7 minutes tonight. He must be bad at basketball.

Hmm...please keep monitoring that situation for us, cool. If Dragic stays in double digits and Chalmers comes out and puts up a double digit number on the plus side, and then it happens TEN games in a row, you might be on to something!

I don't want to be painted as a LaVine hater, because I am not. But come on, guys...can't we all agree that there is an enormous difference between Ricky and Zach at PG, and that it was on display last night? That's all I'm saying here!

I'm not picking on YOU here LST - But yeah there is a huge difference, and there should be. And it should be on display every night if all Zach is going to do is get 10 minutes at backup point guard. That being said, I thought Zach was fine last night.

Lavine is only a -336 on the year. Let me know when Dragic gets there. He only has a 391 point lead this year on Zach.

The more I think about last night's game, the happier I am about the result. Yes, the Suns are a depleted team, but they're currently beating the Bulls in Chicago and Morris was unconscious last night (tonight it's his bro who's on fire). And it's not like the Wolves weren't depleted last night too. One of their PFs was absent and another got hurt halfway through the first quarter, forcing a guy with 18 total NBA minutes and a natural center to cover all the PF minutes. And our most prolific scorer on a points per minute basis clearly shouldn't have been playing either, and in fact is now out for the season. On top of that, Pek and Rubio had terrible shooting nights (Ricky's bad shooting night can be attributed in part to Bledsoe's tough defense, and vice versa BTW). And yet despite all that adversity, they hung on to beat the Suns. My thought last night was "We gotta beat a team like the Suns by more than a bucket", but tonight I'm just thinking "We can play better, but that's still a nice win".

Next we face a very good Rockets team, albeit without their starting center and only a short, hobbled Joey Dorsey at center. KG is supposed to be in the house, and I hope he gets in Pek's face and tells him there is no excuse for him not dropping 30 on Dorsey. Let's see what the KG effect can do tomorrow.

I know, cool... I'm just having some fun at the rookie's expense. As I mentioned in the Shabazz thread, I really hope his injury leads to Zach getting some significant minutes off the ball. I want to see what he can do.

Hey, Bledsoe didn't score a single point in the 4th quarter, but Rubio doesn't play good defense... Shaking my head.
