Zach starting to realize he can get to the rim whenever the fuck he wants to. Nice finish with the left there. Needs to continue to work on that because it seriously is there whenever he wants it.

Gorgui makes people threats. It's weird to say, but true.

Martin and pek coming back has given us a lot more options on offense.

Pek, martin, wiggins, young, dieng and lavine can make plays on offense. Add rubio, bazz and mo coming back then we are going to be competent on offense.

Lorenzo brown has look and played like a pg. Would like to keep him the rest off the year.

Another strong game from Young at SF. Any contenders need a SF? I wonder if we can get a first back for him.

Its nice to win a game where we look like the better team from the get go. It was a team effort win that got a push from lavine in the 3rd.

Fun game.
Really impressed by both Zach and Lorenzo tonight.
Pek may still be working on his shot but he made some damn pretty passes out of the post and double teams tonight.
Ricky was cheering his team on all night from the bench and it seems like he has really embraced the role of leader on the team even through his injury.
Wiggins and Thad had solid games but were kind of quiet, well at least quiet in relation to some of the other Wolves performances.
Gorgui had a great game on the boards and seems to be thriving next to Pek.

Kevin Martin MVP of this game hands down, even with Zach finally attacking and making an impact. Martin just changes the complexion of this team when he is out there and makes everyone else job that much easier. When Rubio and Shabazz come back we can finally start to have some real fun.

Great game. A few things...

- Oh wow, LoBrow! What an awesome first half stint. I don't know if he'll continue to knock down the 3-ball, but the dude just seems to know how to be a point guard out there. What a nice game.

- LaVine really had a nice 2nd half stint, and to Cam's point - gasp! - he even used his left hand to finish on a drive. He really came alive there in the 3rd quarter and Flip rewarded him by allowing him to play practically the entire period. I suppose Zach was pretty frosted that he couldn't finish the game. But it's understandable that Flip wanted a steadier hand at PG with a lead. Zach had his pocket picked a few times and you just can't afford careless TOs late in a game.

- Pekovic and Martin. What a difference a couple of strong vets can make. Things just get easier for everyone else because of the pressure they put on a defense. And while Pek himself didn't grab many rebounds, he seals off guys and really helps overall team rebounding. Dieng had a big game largely because of Pek's presence.

- Wiggins has really struggled with his outside shot lately. I'm not sure what happened, but the only place he seems to find success these days is in the paint. I guess it's good because it forces him to work on being aggressive and going to the hoop. But boy, it sure would be nice if he could start knocking down 3's again.

- Injuries have largely allowed Flip to ignore the depth and overlap we have on the wing, especially at small forward. Once Shabazz gets healthy, that becomes somewhat of an issue again. Personally, I would move Budinger to the end of the bench and then dial back Wiggins' minutes a bit.

There was still some sloppiness and it always seems like someone gets hot from the outside against us, but we pretty much controlled the game from beginning to end. God, that felt good!

It's been nice to see Pek moving well since his return, but I was kind of bummed at how much of a black hole he was being...

But not tonight! Some great passes from Pek tonight, and decent job handling the double/triple teams.

Dieng at PF looked like a fish out of water in the past, but this Pek/Dieng combo has looked pretty good the past few games!
