"it's mindboggling that not even one of the 89 missed shots ended up in his hands!"
Not true. He ended a handful of possessions by fighting for the board. He just didn't register a rebound, due to a foul on the opposition or getting the ball slapped out of bounds. But it's splitting hairs. Even if he had five rebounds last night, he still wouldn't garner any credit on here.
I also liked that we were able to go big with Young/Dieng/Pekovic when we needed to.
[One could argue that scoring is an "integral core competency" of an NBA point guard, and that's Ricky's major flaw, but you seem to be a big fan of him (as am I). Some players affect games in untypical ways. 15/4 on efficient shooting and strong defense on AD. That's a nice outing considering everything, but I digress.]

15 points on 15 shots is not efficient. Just saying. He was sub 50% from the field. 15/4 on 15 shots with no rebounds from the PF position is not a good game. It's a pretty mediocre outing. I don't understand what we are supposed to be considering when judging what makes that a nice outing. A lot of players could find a way to score 15 points on 15 shots. I don't understand why he deserves praise for such a mediocre game. When you are a 7 year vet you don't get extra credit for not being bad. That should be the standard. He's played well lately, but this effort does not belong in the group with the others.

Thad Young is the worst player that's ever played for the 2nd worst franchise in NBA history.
