Don't forget it's the Wolves giving up the first for a player who hasn't seen much court time at all this year. I still think we don't get much that would be exciting if we move them at all
I am not worried about Payne not seeing the court. Atlanta is the best team in the league with load of depth at PF. Where and when was Payne going to play in his rookie year? He's been down in the D-League a lot this year and his numbers are just fine.
With the Wolves in full rebuild mode, it will not be difficult for him to earn playing time.
How about packaging Martin and Young to a team fighting for a playoff spot in the East? That way we get a middling 1st round pick for the pair. In this deep draft that could be a nice piece. Brookly, Boston, Detroit, and Indiana could be possible suitors
