I know he had a good first half but he is just throwing up bricks right now. Why can't we have two good wing players, why is that so bad

Because Martin can bring us good assets for building our future.

Like what though, a late first round pick, how many of those actually pan out, or how many end up being just as good as KMart. I realize there is a chance, but Kmart is the only guy on the wolves right now who can consistently hit a 3pt. I am just not comfortable trading Kmart. The wolves are a bunch of post up players, and if we trade Kmart, 3 of our 5 starters have there best asset as a post up player

Becuz this team isn't going anywhere the next 2 years. He'll be 35 and play worse defense than he does now. He's a decent player but he holds more value as a 6th man on a playoff bound team.

You are going to be disappointed in what we get in return for Martin and Mo if we do move them. Unless we can create a bidding war the best we will see is a late first, expiring contract, or a disappointing young player (Karasev, Miles Plumlee, etc.) and that is best case. Most likely we see a Brewer level haul and then everyone will bitch and moan that we gave away players

I am not disagree with that point, but what is the point of just trading him away, I honestly don't think he will have that high of value on the trade market, yes he will be 35 but he still can be a 3pt specialist off the bench I would rather have him play out his contract instead of having to pay a rookie about 4 mil a year for the next 4 years (who probably won't pan out)
