Maybe. But usually where there is smoke, there is fire. There were a ton of rumors that Cory Brewer was on the block before he eventually was dealt. They certainly could use some additional size on this team. I believe they have to make a decision on Adrien pretty soon as his 10 day contract is coming up.

Carlos, I agree it doesn't mean it won't happen, but not yet Flip made it sound like they have a few things they are monitoring before making a decision.

We do need some size, but Pek 2.0 doesn't do much for me. Adrien was already signed for the remainder of the season, although it is not guaranteed, at least until January 10th when all contracts become guaranteed for the remainder of the season.

The question is, if another big is signed, will Adrien be the one who is let go?

I'm guessing Flip is trying to trade someone else to open up another roster spot. Martin or Bud would be my guess, but maybe GR3.

I'm with you on this. They still have way too many wings on this team but nobody who can be a stopper at PF and/or C. It would make sense to make moves to balance that out provided it's not too costly. I have to assume they are looking and that's why the report came out (similar to reports of Brewer being on the block before it actually happened).

Regarding Adrien....I like his toughness. But I don't think he's the answer we were looking for as a backup C. And if Bennett is ever going to get a shot, it wouldn't make sense to play Adrien at PF. Therefore, I'd be fine with moving him for a true backup Center that can play defense.

I actually like Adrien as a nasty big off the bench. I'd like to keep him.

I am with you. We really need his toughness on this team. He is the only one that is providing it at this point. I know it wouldn't be super popular, but a trade for Martin for Perkins and a pick or young player might not be the worst move.

While some bulk would be welcome, I am still not enamored with this guy. We are still heavy on wings...

Sounds like Raduljica will be here next week. Still will be surprised if Adrien is let go. But he's the only non-guarantee. #twolves

I think we let GR3 go. He has not gotten any minutes.

Good article on what we need on this team. He is a free agent this offseason.

Man, I just don't see how we can let Adrien go. It's not only toughness - he's actually a really good defensive rebounder. We need someone to gather the few misses our defense creates! I would be perfectly fine with sacrificing PT for Bennett to get Adrien more time at PF next to Dieng/Raduljica.
