This is basically the talk going on, or being rumored.
I'm against moving Young for Perkins' contract. Selling low on him right now would be dumb.

Re: Wolves trade with NJ and OKC.
I jump at a Perk and Adams for Young deal. Would do a Perk and a pick for Young as well. At least we try and improve our D. I would hate going into the off season and draft once again not knowing what a player with a significant contract was planning.
Re: Wolves trade with NJ and OKC.
Maybe we could move Pek and Young for KG and Perk!

Nets-Thunder-Wolves deal in works?

The three-team talks between the Brooklyn Nets, Charlotte Hornets and Oklahoma City Thunder may be dead, but another deal could be in the works. According to ESPN.com's Marc Stein, the Nets and Thunder are still talking about a deal regarding Brook Lopez and there is a chance the Minnesota Timberwolves could get involved.
Stein writes: "Sources say one option that strongly interests Nets, IF Brook Lopez trade goes down, is trying to deal Kendrick Perkins (to the Wolves) for Thaddeus Young ... ESPN sources say Wolves are willing to move Young as part of ongoing rebuild and Young said to be high on list players Brooklyn covets."
Young, like Lopez can become a free agent this coming July. Lopez owns a player option for 2015-16, while Young's contract includes an Early Termination Option. Lopez is expected to decline his option, but could accept it. Young will exercise the out in his contract instead of collecting the $9.97 million next season. Young will be one of the top free agent forwards in 2015.
The Wolves will likely get cash and future draft picks should they agree to send out Young for Perkins. It should be noted that Perkins' contract expires on June 30.

Take this with a grain of salt, as it is clear this guy has been drinking heavily!

Maybe people around the league see this as another bad situation that isn't utilizing his skills? idk. There seems to be interest in him at least.
Young for Perkins + a pick or 2 doesn't sound too bad to me especially if they can bring in a PF with him or maybe that would lead them to resign Adrien.
Re: Wolves trade with NJ and OKC.
As long as we don't take back a bad deal past this season, I see no reason not to make the move. Anything we get will be a bonus for a below average player. Flip likely won't make the move unless he gets a first so he can save face.

I wouldn't pull the trigger on that. I wanna see how Thad plays with our actual starters. Not to mention we'd be selling low.
