If the Wolves can keep this one competitive through the fourth quarter, I'll consider that a good outing. I think this one would have been really difficult to win even with Karl-Anthony Towns at 100-percent and in the lineup.

I expect a pretty good game out of D'Angelo Russell considering it's against his former team. That usually plays a factor. He's plenty comfortable at the Barclays Center too.

I'm also excited to see 30-ish minutes of Russell and Naz Reid together. They're very good in the screen and roll game.

I'm liking the effort to start. It'd be easy to come out flat for this one on the road without your best player. But the guys are working hard and competing. If the Wolves get anything above expectations from Malik Beasley and Taurean Prince in this one, they could have a chance to steal it. Minnesota's up 29-23 with 2:53 left in the opening quarter.
