But by all means, continue to try and win with Towns and DLO.
It's wild that you continue to pound your chest about this in some sort of celebratory fashion. What exactly do you think you were right about? Also, this type of "remember when I said" post doesn't exactly favor you on most things.
I hope this comment is just out of frustration for tonight's game and in that case I understand. This hasn't been fun to watch for sure.
Wolves down 26 here in the third. Karl-Anthony Towns and Anthony Edwards not only look disinterested tonight, but they're a combined 8-26 (1-13 3P) for 20 total points. They won't beat any team in the league with performances like that from their two best players on the court tonight.
I feel like the Wolves should have played Vanderbilt-Towns-Reid lineups tonight to match the Cavs size in the frontcourt. They've consistently played Markkanen-Mobley-Allen with Love sprinkled in as a sub and it's been killing Minnesota.
We don't see games like this from KAT very often...9-3-2 with 4 TOs and 4 fouls. I recognize that it's not easy facing Allen and Mobley, but this is ridiculous. You have to wonder how much that tailbone is still hurting.

Towns is moving around fine despite probably still feeling some pain in that tailbone. He just looks out of sorts, in my opinion.
The Wolves just haven't learned that the one-pass offense isn't going to work. They're literally not running any sets. There's no high screen action. Someone dribbles the ball from one end to the other and makes a pass. Whoever receives that pass then has tunnel vision on their own shot. It's trash basketball. I've seen better ball movement at my local park.

Well that's good, I guess. Hard to understand why he would mail this one in though at such a critical time of the season. A home game after a 4-game losing streak is exactly the moment a talented guy like KAT has to step up. And he didn't do it. Oh well, on to Portland.
The Wolves let the Cavs jump on them early and rolled over shortly after that. Honestly, this is tied with the loss against the Pelicans for most disappointing on the season.
