I think this is a very good day to be a Wolves fan. The head idiot is gone, and the owners are looking for a top 5 name to bring in. Watch out for Elton Brand.
I think the best part of this is we no longer have a POBO who is tied to DLO, and quite frankly won't have one who thinks he's a star. And maybe most important, won't have one who makes stupid moves to pair up friends and give up great draft picks during a year of a great draft pool.
I'm excited for what comes next. Maybe this spurs a move for Ben Simmons, or maybe it takes us out of the running completely. Either way, I'm looking forward to this season now more than ever.
No one is going to spend a billion dollars, and not want to be able to vet who is running the franchise. Apparently Rosas was vetted and now he's history. Good day indeed.
If you hated the Dlo trade what are you going to think of Elton Brand who gave up 3 players, one who was a young prospect at the time in Shamet, 2 1sts (1 unprotected and 1 lotto protected) and 2 2nds for Tobias Harris. Then paid Tobias Harris to be a top 10 salary in the NBA (Currently 13th highest) and is 1 of 2 players in the top 30 highest players in the NBA and never made an all star game (CJ is the other end he is paid 30th most)
I'm really scared if it is brand
I'm not hoping for Brand Kek, just heard his name brought up by Rick Mahorn.
Fair. Took your post wrong. My bad. We disagree on the Dlo trade and Rosas in general (what is fine). I just think we can do a lot worse then Rosas and I was liking what rosas was building.
How can you disagree on the DLO trade? It was a disaster. Again, those exact words repeated on the NBA network today. We've been building for 17 years. It's time to let the new owners come in and set their own culture. As someone else said, the bar isn't very high. Let's see what happens with a true commitment to winning, and fresh blood overseeing the whole operation.
They're not even the real owners yet.
Besides, I figured they'd keep Rosas until they became majority owners so that when they did fire him, it would come off as if they mean business. Now it looks like nobody knows who's leading who.
