This might be the worst I've seen Patrick Beverley play on both ends of the court.

Disappointed that our probably 3 rotation guys in Pat Bev, Beasley and Nowell really let the team down tonight

What a shame. The Wolves could and should have won this game even without their best players.

Malik Beasley kills me with his repetitive desire to be "the guy" in big moments. That shot attempt I mentioned earlier says it all. Selfish. I certainly hope Minnesota can find a decent trade for him before the deadline. It's not working with him coming off the bench for the Wolves and his replacement costs significantly less against the cap.

PBev at least has an excuse. Beasley and Nowell are paid to make damn shots and they were both awful.

On the bright side, Greg Monroe was good yet again with seven points (3-3 FG), six rebounds, four assists, and three blocks in 22 minutes. I thought Minnesota played better with him on the floor despite what his plus-minus would illustrate. The Wolves have him through January 5th and I hope Sachin Gupta is able to either give him another 10-day contract when this one expires or finagle enough cap space to sign him for the rest of the season. He was a good addition and should be kept around, in my opinion.

I have cooled on Jaden this year, but I did think he had a very complete game and was our beat player tonight.

Love Monroe's game, don't know what we can do with him

Jaden has to get back to being a respectable 3-point shooter though. He's going to have to make a higher percentage or he's just another good defender that can't shoot. Josh Okogie, Corey Brewer.....been there, done that with this franchise.

The Knicks didn't play well at all tonight, but they were healthy and we were far from it...so this is not a bad loss. The crowd was energized at TC tonight and clearly appreciated the effort our reserves put out.

You guys are right...Jaden was our best player tonight at both ends of the court. You could tell Randle sized up this skinny kid and assumed he could overpower him. Instead Jaden made him look silly all night. Randle whined to the refs during every time out, but they knew he was getting fouled. Just great defense by the kid all night.

Schedule gets tougher now, so we need some negative Covid tests and for our Covidites to come back sharper than PatBev did tonight.
