121-120, Wolves win in double overtime!

Points in the Paint
Minnesota: 54
Philadelphia: 36

Rebounds
Minnesota: 54
Philadelphia: 44

Free Throws
Minnesota: 11-16
Philadelphia: 30-39 (insanity)

D'Angelo Russell: 35 points (13-25 FG, 6-10 3P, 3-4 FT), 8 assists, 4 rebounds, 2 steals, and 2 blocks in 44 minutes.

~ 27 of his 35 points came in the fourth quarter and overtime. His defense also led to the transition bucket that won the game.

Karl-Anthony Towns: 28 points (11-16 FG, 3-5 3P, 3-6 FT) and 10 rebounds in 37 minutes.

Anthony Edwards: 19 points (8-21 FG, 1-8 3P, 2-2 FT), 7 assists, 6 rebounds, 3 steals, and a block in 48 minutes.

Naz Reid: 13 points (6-9 FG, 1-1 3P), 5 rebounds, and a block in 21 minutes.

~ Towns fouled out late in the fourth quarter so Reid ended up playing all 10 minutes of overtime. He battled hard and hit a sweet left hook over Joel Embiid before Taurean Prince's game-winning layup.

Enjoy this win! Minnesota faced a ton of adversity in this game and stole a tough one on the road and against the zebras. 10-10 record after 20 games. It hasn't always been pretty, but the Wolves are in a good position right now. They play the Pacers next on Monday at the Target Center and Indiana will be playing their second game of a back-to-back. Let's go.

The fact that the Wolves out rebounded the Sixers is insanity. We had no business

A lot of fun out on Sixers boards. Even they recognized lopsided officiating.

The were, however, ripping on Embid for not being able to get the winning basket (sound familiar?). Bigs can't take winning shots in this league.

How about Bolmaro getting extended playing time? He needs to take the open shot when it gets rotated to him, but damn that kid can play defense. I am looking forward to him taking all of 2nd team minutes.
