Very cool. I still don't understand all nba analytics but it's becoming fun to learn them. Still don't understand why there isn't a WAR stat like in baseball to stop all these who's good and who's not arguments.

Wait a minute is +- the war statistic in the NBA? Lol

The publicly available stat that most resembles WAR is VORP, in my opinion. Like WAR, you should probably consider context and other metrics as well, but VORP passes the eye test to me.

Raw plus-minus numbers have been made fun of since its existence. There's an article where Danny Ainge talks about it being irrelevant and how most franchises use their own system to evaluate players. He basically scoffed at it as a way of evaluating guys.
