This I agree with 100%. I dont think he likes basketball. His energy makes it seem like he just had the right body for this but has zero confidence.

Games like these happen, all the young players were really bad tonight. It happens. Hopefully Dlo and Beasley are back next week and with a talent increase leads to more consistent Ws

McDaniels +2, Edwards only-4

Edwards has been ass tonight thus far and McDaniels has been meh. It is what it is.

What's your solution Cam?

I'd start by putting less responsibility on 19 and 20 year olds. There's really no reason for Anthony Edwards to lead the team in shot attempts, especially when he's running cold, and McDaniels was settling in just fine off the bench. I wouldn't have started him where he's forced to play against better players.

So who's going to shoot and how do you make up for Jaden's defensive chops?

Karl-Anthony Towns is still wearing a Wolves uniform. Jaylen Nowell is plenty capable of handling more of an offensive workload. The idea is to spread it out amongst the rest of the guys so that it doesn't fall on one player. Anthony Edwards isn't good enough yet to play his brand of basketball.

And I'll reserve further comments about Jaden McDaniels because I see him very differently than you do. I don't think he's that good right now, which is okay. And I don't expect him to be.

That's because you don't understand that points against have the same impact as points for.

Right, Cool. I forgot we have Scottie Pippen on the roster. What was I thinking?

Just for you guys

Jarrett Culver has ran 22 pick and rolls this year, per Synergy.

- He has shot 13 times in those pick and rolls, making 1 of those 13 shots
- He has turned it over 7 times
- He has been fouled twice, making 2 of the 4 free throws

0.182 points per possession. Last in the NBA.

Looking at the past 8 games, I notice a funny pattern with Ricky. Every other game he shoots great (above 63%) and the other games he shoots poorly (below 30%). At least he can help the team even when his shot is off. Wish I could say the same for Ant.

You're better than that.

Yeah, I don't feel too bad about getting a split in Phoenix. Disappointing to not make it competitive on a night when we hold Booker to 16 (JO was terrific), but as others have said, our young players are going to have nights like this. Next four home games are all winnable, so maybe this win one, lose one routine we've been on will end and we finally win two in a row.

I will say I am getting a little worried about mcdaniels. You take out his game where he exploded for 4 of 5 from deep. In last 10 games he is 4 of 22 from 3 (18.1%).

He really isn't a threat with the ball in his hands, his D has been solid but we have a long history of players getting worse shooting the ball. He needs to knock down shots.

The Suns were not going to let the Wolves sweep them at home. I thought we'd lose by 20 so I think we lost by less, that's a win.

Ant was not good tonight but he did have 10 rebs and 6 asts. Wouldn't say he brought absolutely nothing to the table. Even though he was a negative tonight
