I mentioned in a post in another thread why I saw hope for this teams' defense. Beverley, Okogie, McDaniels and Vanderbilt are all good to very good defenders. Edwards has the potential to be a great defender. KAT's defense has been improving the past couple seasons. Put all that together and this team can hold it's own defensively while displaying a high-octane offense powered by KAT, DLO, Beasley, Edwards, Beverley and Reid.

Tonight's game is a reminder that Naz Reid needs to be included in any list of highly-talented players on this roster. Like Vanderbilt, he was a top recruit out of college. Vanderbilt suffered injuries in college and Reid got fat and was apparently in a bit of a mental funk. Reid is a heck of an athlete in addition to being highly skilled. And he's stil just scratching the surface of his ability.
