Bolmaro didn't do much in Argentina's loss....came off the bench and had minimal impact from what I could tell.

I'm not sure. He didn't become a scorer for Team Spain until 2019. He jumped from single-digit scoring to 16.4 points and from 36% FG shooting to 43% and 38% three-point shooting. I liked the way Ricky was shooting late last season with the Wolves. I wasn't a fan of the deal that brought Ricky here, but I have a good feeling about him next season. I'm not opposed to trading him if he can help bring in a good defensive big to start next to KAT. But I'm also content keeping him as our primary backup PG to provide solid play as well as leadership both on and off the court.

Yeah, I'm hoping if he isn't dealt he comes into camp in shape and doesn't crap the bed for 30 games to open the season like he did last year!

Also, Bolmaro has been less than impressive in his more recent play (at the club and national team level) so I'm not ready to say he's the obvious backup to DLO. But yeah, if Rubio's salary is needed to land a big catch, then great. If that deal isn't available, then I think we definitely need him back.

Rubio goes off again, while Bolmaro get little run apparently all in garbage time.

Ricky can shoot! 5 of 6 from downtown against Argentina and had a game high of 26. Bolmaro was 1 of 2 but didn't get much playing time (Unfortunately I missed game when he was in).

Ant, KAT and DLO have all proven to be fairly good distributors. This is going to come in handy next season as they set up good looks for our new go-to shooter...Ricky Rubio. Some NBA players take a little longer to reach their shooting stride. I look for Ricky to average 23 a game next season on 42% 3-point shooting.

Boy, the Olympics is a different animal of course, but the contrasting minutes and play of Rubio and Bolmaro makes it harder and harder for me to see us trading Rubio unless we feel we can sign a solid backup to take his place. I'm not ready to put that role in Bolmaro's hands. He's a 3rd string PG coming into camp.

Absolutely a possibility. I'd just want to make sure Rosas has a plan for 2nd string PG in the event DLO gets hurt. Sorry, but J-Mac isn't the answer. And Bolmaro needs more time to develop it looks like.
