John Focke
John Focke
John used to do the Wolves videos. Glad to see he is representing our franchise......oh wait.
How do you accidentally type the N word? Does he have some sort of racist spell check? There is no conceivable way of typing this word accidentally unless you use it colloquially. Maybe he was working on a Mark Twain book report or something.

He started working for the Hornets this season. I don't actually know the guy but that seriously doesn't seem like something he would do on purpose. Maybe I shouldn't give the guy the benefit of the doubt but he has always seemed like a good dude and a pro. FWIW autocorrect is honesty pretty bizarre. Just today I went to type "Religious" and somehow Autocorrect changed it to "devious". It made a few of us in the text group chuckle. I'd assume he meant to type Nuggets?
Edit: the letters are close to each other...that is his claim not autocorrect.
Re: John Focke
I just tried about 50 times to type nuggets as the n word but was unsuccessful. I guess it was really bad luck or he has massively huge fingers if we're giving him the benefit of the doubt.
I don't think he did it on purpose by any means.

I can see "nuggets" or "bigger" on a keyboard, if we're buying that he made an accident. He probably didn't mean to do what he did. I'm still one of the few in this country that believe in the presumption of innocence.

He doesn't seem like a guy that would be that stupid and honestly, the sentence made no sense.
Re: John Focke
I don't think anyone is implying it wasn't an accident. I think what is the problem is how an accident like that can happen. Either it was autocorrect which means he uses the word regularly in text or he fully typed it out without noticing which is nearly impossible for me to do as someone who doesn't have autocorrect turned on/

Agreed. He uses it a lot with his friends.

Hahahaha. Yeah this thread is ridiculous. I couldn't help myself. I always found Focke's video segments a bit annoying and corporate, so I can't help finding this whole story a bit funny.

I like Focke but he seemed too cautious I can see what you mean by corporate. It almost seemed like he liked being more behind the scenes than being in front of the camera. I guess he did Lynx games though and maybe that's where he let loose more. I can't say I tuned into too many Lynx broadcast games it was usually playoffs when I watched. Anyway honestly I was kinda surprised in some ways when he left for that job with the Hornets. Its a good job maybe it was too good to turn down. If this was a complete accident I feel bad for the guy...but he should have to deal with consequences. You can't be that careless accident or not. I haven't heard anyone come out and claim they think he is a racist like has happened with some other recent media members that have said stuff and were let go. Oh and he shouldn't have used the "I apologize to those I offended." if you are sorry for what bad you said you are sorry to everyone. People often equate that with tone-def non-apology. He should absolutely know better than that.

autocorrect doesn't lie.
