Time to cross our fingers...
Looks like Glen is exploring selling the team. Just don't go to a Seattle ownership group please.

KG trying to buy the Wolves with investors. I don't care who buys the team as long as they aren't moved. They can't be worse then Glen

And some say God isn't real. Well I hope I didn't just completely jinx this process.
Re: Time to cross our fingers...
Taylor is seeking at least 1.2 Billion with a condition to keep the team in Minnesota. I hope he is flexible on that number, anyone who thought Taylor was anything other than primarily in this for his own financial interests shouldn't have much of a case left with this info. The 1.38 Billion dollar team evaluation was before Coronavirus, imo he's dreaming to get 1.2 with a stipulation to keep the team in a market with little interest in this team. But hey good on him, he's going to get at least a 10x multiple on his 88 million dollar investment.

And for KG it's about the city of Minneapolis not just the team. No way would he let the team move if he was involved. I hope it works out with him and his group.
Re: Time to cross our fingers...
If Glen can get his price at this point with COVID and everything he should do it I mean purely as a business decision especially at his age.
I could see both spite and redemption in a KG ownership group buying the team from Glen. I know objectively Glen isn't a good owner but I honesty have concerns about KG too. How smart of a business and basketball guy is he really? Keep in mind he unfortunately got scammed out of a bunch of money.
Meanwhile...if someone buys the team would they end up looking to change the direction of who is running the franchise? That could be a good thing at some point but man it would be nice to have someone hang around for a while. Rosas better hope Towns and Russell love him. Lol I could honestly see an ownership group see Rosas and the guys he has assembled as a positive part of the franchise evaluation though.
The reality is Glen is gonna sell at some point. I wonder what they will do with the Lynx.

Anyone think Glen is selling becuz the cities is a shit show right now and he doesn't see it getting better anytime soon? Say what you will about him but he's a business man that has prolly hired a firm to prognosticate the health of the organization moving forward in the current climate up there.

KG as an owner would be insane entertainment value alone, but I also wonder if he'd be able to help attract free agents to Minnesota. That makes sense to me in theory.
He'd also get to retire his number finally.

The Wilfs might buy them. That'd be a good fit.

Yes, I see they are being reported as a legit contender now.
