Possible KAT Trades

Post by Lipoli390 »

I've finally reached the point where I'm open to the Wolves trading KAT, but I'm still not advocating for a trade. Nonetheless, with disdain for Towns at an all-time high (justifiably), I thought this was as good time for a Towns trade thread. Looking for realistic trade scenarios for this summer that would be good deals for the Wolves. Here are a few I've come up with:

Cavs get: Towns
Wolves get: Mobley, Love, 2023 1st (top-5 protected)

Cavs get: Towns, DLO
Wolves get: Allen, Love, Garland, 2023 1st (unprotected)

Pistons get: Towns
Wolves get: Cunningham, Grant, 2022 1st (unprotected)

Bulls get: Towns
Wolves get: Vucevic, Pat Williams, 2023 1st (unprotected)

Bulls get: Towns, DLO
Wolves get: Vucevic, Pat Williams, Ball, 2023 1st (top-5 protected)

They'll answer the phone - unless you call them first and tell them what Gupta plans to offer. :). Otherwise, the question on those top 3 is whether they'd hang up the phone or counter.

Regarding the first two, I think Cleveland would stay on the phone and counter with Allen, Okoro and several future picks or Allen, Marrkanen and a protected pick. Either scenario would be a nice deal for Cleveland. They'd keep their two key budding stars Garland and Mobley while adding a all-star in his prime. I think Cleveland gets the better end of either deal centered around Allen.

I think Detroit would jump at the deal I suggested.

The Chicago deals are the most realistic. I think the Bulls would take either one.
