Wolves trade for Pat Beverly
The Memphis Grizzlies are trading Patrick Beverley to the Minnesota Timberwolves for Jarrett Culver and Juancho Hernangomez, sources tell ESPN.

And just like that the Wolves have had a successful off-season, assuming Jarred Vanderbilt does indeed return as expected. Incredible how quickly things change. I love this trade.
Re: Wolves trade for Pat Beverly
I will say this was the advantage of having Hernangomez contact at a higher price. This trade would not of been possible if it was a lower contract
Re: Wolves trade for Pat Beverly
Beverley is precisely the type of player this team needs. not her nice aspect of this deal is that it frees up a roster spot. I'm looking for the Wolves to fill that spot with Millsap.

I love the move as well, poo poo platter for a gritty vet sounds good to me!

Dane Moore is saying on Macky and Judd that the Hernangomez situation got really toxic after the Wolves banned him from playing in Olympics

I agree, Cam. This one move has suddenly made this a successful off-season for the Wolves. Kudos to Gersson Rosas. Now the Wolves can cap it all off by re-signing Vanderbilt and then signing Millsap to fill our one remaining roster spot that this two-for-one deal opens up.
Question - Do you think the Wolves will still re-sign JMac?
