I like Kemba Walker. But he seems shot at this point.

Unplayable this year for some reason...I'm guessing the knee hasn't healed. The Knicks are first in defense when he's on the bench, last when he's playing. They're 27th in offense when he's playing and 9th when he's not. I'd say he's earned a place on Thibs' bench. He's only 31, so maybe he comes back strong. I've always liked him too. I mean, who doesn't?

Sucks to see. Pretty sure it's the knee. Dude carried UConn to that championship back in the day and was basically the only decent thing going in Charlotte for a long time. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4U0t1hzI8BMAll things must pass. Still, doesn't make it easier when it does.

Side note: if anybody's a George Harrison fan, you should check out that cover album. Good stuff.

Yeah, I like Kemba Walker too. Combine a little Father Time and a couple of injuries and here we are, though.

By the way, it's a really good thing that the Wolves didn't trade D'Angelo Russell to Boston for him like it was suggested here some time ago. That would have been the final nail in the coffin for this franchise.

Can you imagine where this franchise would be right now if the Wolves listened to bobos like that... or those who were adamant about drafting James Wiseman?

That seems like an entirely different conversation considering James Wiseman is still just 20-years old...

You like to bring up the Milwaukee vs. Minnesota conversations of old. As we know all too well, things can change in an instant.

No reason to get huffy. That's why I specifically wrote "right now."

[Note: A little self deprecation is good sometimes]

I laid a bet down on the Grizzlies giving 9 to the Thunder. Probably a dumb bet with Morant, Anderson and Ziare Williams out. Can anyone tell me if Memphis somehow managed to squeak by?

So if we blew out the Grizzlies and the Grizzlies blew out OKC by 72, does that mean we'll beat OKC by 100 when we play them? It would be great to sit our starters after the first quarter!

Portland has lost 4 of 5 and now Lillard is out for at least the next 10 days. It sure seems like the basketball gods have been kind to the Wolves so far this season. We have a number of Western Conference teams that have struggled with injuries to key guys whereas our "mini-big three" have been mostly healthy.

Hopefully we can weather this tough stretch of games, stay mostly healthy, and may be get some help from other teams stumbling a bit.
