Those back to back possessions in the 4th where Dlo doesn't secure the defensive rebound which leads to a 3, then turns it over which lead to another 3. Just pathetic.

I'm guessing Cam won't post anymore Who was the Rubio fan who staplers posting after he was traded??

What to do with Dlo? I wont actively shop
him but im more open to trading him than now than I was this year. Weve seen the 'big 3' already, I believe this is the farthest we can go with ant/kat/dlo. If we can resign dlo to a 18-19m/yr deal and make
a significant upgrade at the 4 then Il
keep him around.

Do you bring back Prince? No. He played
better at the 2nd half of the season but he is a very replaceable role player.

What do you do with #19, 3 2nds and Beasley contract. Hopefully, a starting caliber 4. Brandon clarke would be a perfect 4 for us. I love
vando but he cant be your starting 4. Mcdaniels is a 3 rather than a 4 for me.

Do you decline Naz and Nowell option this year making them RFA or accept the their team option but they become UFA in 2023.

Naz is replaceable for me and not your ideal backup 5 to Kat. I think monroe can replace Naz in the rotation and we wont be missing much. I will look to trade naz this offseason.

I will resign nowell to a multiyear cheap deal if we
can. He can take beasley minutes at 1/3 -1/4 of the price. They have the full MLE. What is about 11 million a year to use in FA I will look to make trades first. A trade is where I see us getting a legit impact player/difference maker. I prioritize maling trades rather than look at who can be had with the MLE.

I wonder If Ant is being held back at all by pressure to keep Kat involved offensively.

I'm curious why you guys didn't like the Vikings draft. Thought it was really good actually.

Moving down to draft a safety at 32 when the best safety and arguably top 5 player in this draft was there at 12 in Hamilton bugged me. Being responsible for division rivals getting their guy at a premium position bugged me. Booth falling into our laps softens the blow but the other two picks look like reaches. Hope I'm wrong tho!

Just finished watching the game. My biggest takeaway is that Russell simply didn't do enough in this game. McLaughlin was clearly the better player in the 2nd half of this game and quite frankly he probably should have gone back in the game a little sooner. The Wolves have come a long way and I think they are on the track to being an even better team but as good as Russell has been this season his play in this series has been underwhelming. I can see why someone would want to trade him. I have said resign him for a reasonable contract. The game last night made me question doing that and I'm a big Russell supporter as a good player.

McDaniels played the elite supporting player game of his life because it was a playoff elimination game. The Wolves will need more from him consistently if they want to continue their progression.

Beasley didn't do enough in this series but I also liked that he didn't play outside himself and I didn't see a guy that was a disaster on D. If he had another nice offensive game which is usually expected from him this series goes 7 games. He remains an asset could be moved but I also question what teams have that need.

Vanderbit is a nice player and so do think there is a chance he becomes a better version of himself but he has to be a lot more than he is or he is a valued bench player. He just doesn't play strong enough. Between him and McDaniels that's a real problem. McDaniels can play as an actual wing on both ends. Vanderbilt is an energy big that can also guard wings. He is super valuable but the Wolves need to add to the mix there.

Overall the Wolves still have some work to do but the progress they have made ending the season with a 6 game series which it feels like they could have actually won against a 2 seed feels pretty good. I suppose they could mostly run this team back and that wouldn't be terrible but my guess is they are going to look to make at least one move aside from signing a FA with the mid-level.

I can concur with a lot of your thoughts, monster.

- I really think DLo was hampered by the leg injury that caused him to miss a couple games at the end of the season.
- Beasley really needs his teammates to find him, and that did not happen enough.
- One of Finch's comments was the poor shot selections are baked into the team's DNA. He also laments the poor defensive rebounding. I am sure those will be top priorities he addresses this offseason. We are really lucky to have him as our coach!

My biggest expectation next season is a move for big man to compliment KAT, moving Vando to the bench.

But it's been a really fun season. Not only has it exceeded most everyone's expectations, but we have reason to believe the Wolves can be even better next year.
