Last night I was surprised by my wife with two tickets to be able sit 4 rows behind the wolves bench. I thought I give my thoughts on what I saw.

Dlo and Gobert are very close they sit next each other and they talk to each other the entire game.

Kat every time out was not listening to Finch and sitting at the end of the bench with blank stare on his face.

Within the first 5 mins of the game Finch said its going to be a long fing night. This was sparked by the lack of transition defense.

Jaylen Nowell was a turn style last night and was the person Anthony Edwards was in his ass all night. I dont know how constructive it was but this was area where I think we missed Pat Bev.

There was illegal screen called on Collins in 2nd. Pop yelled that's bullshit that was legal and then called a time out to bitch about it for 30 more seconds. I found it hilarious.

Ant was pulled in the 4th for his defensive effort and Immediately went to the the tunnel. Kat went after him and they both had heated exchange over playing hard on defense. At first I thought Ant was in wrong but I thought this was good thing after seeing the whole thing play out.

Nathan Knight is gots to go situation down 30 on the side talking to friends of his on sideline. Lip was right this guy is not healthy for this team.

Finch was very calm I think he knows its going to be a process.

The Wolves have a stats guy or younger coach who does as much bitching as towns it was very annoying an unprofessional. I cant believe no one has talked to him about his attitude. I tried to look up who it was but couldn't find him. I couldn't tell if he was just a stats guy or not.

Overall experience was still fun if you have any questions feel free to ask and ill try to answer them.

Great recap of your experience Jester and much appreciated. This is insight the rest of us (except Lip at times) just don't get.

Yeah, the perimeter defense is a problem. The high wall along with Vando and PBev really masked a lot of the deficiencies of this squad.

I was there last night too, jester, but on the other side of the court...so I appreciate some of your insights as to what was happening on the bench. I was able to watch Nathan Knight though yukking it up on the bench and clowning around at halftime. It's a problem when a player cares way less about winning than the fans do. I'm not sure he even knew we were getting our asses kicked. He needs to go.

I spent a lot of time watching Jeremy Sochan. He doesn't seem very likable, but he sure is effective on defense...I see him as a future NBA all-defense guy. He completely took Ant out of his game, and was pretty tough on KAT too when Pop switched him over to him. I have to give credit though for playing tough against Sochan and not getting physically intimidated like Ant.

Yes, Knight needs to go. It was the same antics from him last season and it's even worse so far this season. Apparently, he's tight with McDaniels and DLO. They came to Summer League and hung out together there. I'd see if we can get anything for him. Otherwise, I'd just let him go.

We've all had a lot to say about KAT and Ant in our evaluation of these past four games. But honestly, the entire starting lineup is the problem. If I were Finch, I'd start JMac, Nowell or Rivers, Prince, Anderson and Reid the next game.

No thank you on starting the bench. A quick little power trip by finch is not going to solve the issue. Wolves need the starters to get minutes because they are the key to ultimate success. I think we massively overrate what a benching does to players
