I can make an argument that Nowell is worse than Dlo this year. Nowell just does not stop shooting and legit does not pass. He is third in the NBA is shots per 36 in the nba only behind Luka and SGA (he probably will pass SGA tonight)

this team went out of their way to vault Nowell from DNP's every other night to undisputed 6th man with little resistance.

What's the alternative to getting him to rein in his shot attempts? Play Rivers? Moore?

He still needs minutes but he needs to start passing. Like he can't be #2 in the NBA in shots per 36. Seems like he is playing for a contract and not to win games

Pretty sure he was referring to Lazar Hayward. That would be appropriate value back for DLO.

Thought the Wolves showed right tonight for the first time all year. I like that.

Thought Gobert, Kat and Ant all had there good moments.

Dlo really frustrated me and he needs to play better.

Naz was fantastic again.

Pretty good summary, kek, although I need more from Gobert. And I would add that except for Nowell's shooting, the bench was very good tonight. And even Nowell had 4 assists.

Weighing in on the discussion about DLo between D-loser and Doper/kek. I actually agree with both sides to a certain extent. Of course, DLo is going to play "better" than he has in the first 8 games...history tells us that. There will be games where he shoots better than he has so far this season. But unfortunately what is not going to change is his style of play, and that's killing us right now. At this stage of his career, he is what he is...Finchie can't expect him to change. The game was so much more watchable (and the Wolves were so much better) when JMac came in for DLo, and that seems to be a nightly occurrence now. Is anyone that watched the game surprised at all that JMac was a +6 and DLo a -20???? Something needs to change...either Finchie needs to force DLo into a different style, or he needs to start JMac and give him the majority of the minutes.

I think the wolves will figure it out. Thought they played good defense and even the ball movement late was better. Yes they turned the ball over but thought they took the smallest of steps tonight

Good of you to notice a couple of green shoots emerging from the ashes Kek. We need to hang in there over the next 10 or so games and just try not to dig too deep of a hole. It's obvious that this team is struggling to find its identity and synergize with each other. Hopefully our starting unit starts to figure things out, but they clearly need more time than any of us thought.
