Best game of the year. Thought they defended well also but the Spurs hit some contested shots

If anyone notice the last Possession DLO purposely passed to edwards so he wouldn't get TO because of the shot clock then edwards did the same thing with 3 seconds left to
McDaniels.

It's a team turnover

Didn't know that but type of stuff pisses me off Dlo does this a lot with the last full court shots purposely shooting it after the buzzer.

Yeah, we still have a ton of work to do. Luckily we made everything tonight, so that masked the underlying issues.

Did we just become the first team to not grab an offensive rebound in NBA history?

A few other observations...

- Jaylen Nowell's price tag could be really steep. Him and his agent are eyeing what Tyler Herro signed as their aspirational goal I suspect. The dude is a flat-out 3-level scorer that will continue to get better. Plus he has some decent passing chops.

- It was nice to see Ant hit some big mid-range jumpers and also make a crafty post move to help close the game out in the 4th. He really needs to have more than 3's and power drives to the hoop to become an elite playoff scorer.

- Huge game for Jaden. Nice to see the 3-ball go down.

- KAT played under control and continues to flash some great passing chops. I'm also glad he's OK taking those open long 2's. For most people, that's a bad shot. Not him.

- I thought DLO was bad tonight. Not necessarily in his individual stat sheet, but just seems to be weighing us down a bit. When JMac comes in everything seems to change for the better. That says something.

We really do struggle on the perimeter defensively getting into people and making things difficult. Austin Rivers WILL find his way into the regular rotation once he's healthy.

Agreed on Ant's midrange shot. He has already said he loves them, they look for easy for him and he should be able to get them in key moments.

I didn't' see the game tonight. DLO's box score looked OK except for his 4 turnovers, 25% three-point shooting and 25% free throw shooting. But I'm not surprised by your observation that weighs the team down. I've noticed that ever since he's been here. The team has always looked better to me when JMac is on the floor, either instead of DLO or with him at the same time.

Good to see the Wolves win, but there were some troubling undercurrents, including giving up 122 points to a pretty bad team and ending up with 11 fewer rebounds. From the box score, it looks like the Wolves won because they outshot the Spurs from behind the arc. I'm glad the Wolves finally put together a good 3-point shooting night, but the defense and rebounding has to improve.

Nowell is pricing himself off our team. Going to be tough to see him go. Instant offense and a candidate for 6th man of the year. Wonder how many teams would give him a good chunk of their cap space.

When it comew down to the trade deadline, what would Nowell and Reid fetch on the trade market? No sense in letting them walk for nothing.
