Well...Jalen Smith resigned with the Pacers for 2 years 9.6 million. I suppose in a non-Gobert scenario the Wolves probably could have gotten him with the full or near mid-level. I'm still not sure how good he really will be but I'll also be interested to see how well he does in Indiana. Maybe Nesmith does well there too.

Lip I'm here for you we can get through this together!

That's a hell of a deal for the Celtics. I'm surprised the Pacers were willing to do that deal. I suppose they might be able to flip Theis in another deal which could add value to the overall package. If they are gonna keep trying to win some games Theis won't hurt to have around.

I think the Celtics just screwed up.

I'm curious why you think so. It is a gamble but they are also not absolutely relying on Brogdon

Because Brogdon carries more risk than reward for that team. If you want to make a move as a recent championship contender for awhile now, then go make one.

Lol. Thanks, Monster. It's been tough. But the recovery is beginning and I'm getting better and better every day. :)

But what did the Celtics lose in that deal?

And the Celtics made the Finals without Brogdon or any of the pieces shipped out... it's virtually a can't lose trade for them.

Serge Ibaka returns to the Bucks on a one-year deal. As Cam suggested, he would have been a nice addition to the Wolves bench. But no surprise he returns to the Bucks.

I think that's a really good deal for Boston. They need a real PG. And while Brogdon has had injury issues, they didn't really give up anything that was key to their run this past season. Getting Gallo is also nice for them. That's a really good team, definitely favorites in the East, right? A healthy Middleton should make Milwaukee a real contender again, and I would definitely not sleep on Philly if Maxey takes another big step forward. And if Durant somehow ends up in Miami or Toronto, those could be really dangerous teams, although they may have to give up a lot of current talent to get him since it sounds like the Nets would want real players back to contribute now because they gave up all their picks to get Harden so tanking doesn't make as much sense. So yeah, I think Boston looks like they're in a good position to repeat as the team coming out of the East.

Yeah, that would have been a near-ideal add to Minnesota's bench on a low-risk deal. Of course Milwaukee didn't let him get away for that price.
