They have to let the score get closer so they can add another one possession win to their record.

God, I hope not.

Solid win, but expected. Refreshing to finally see a double-digit victory!

- It's unfortunate that a series of seven straight empty possessions sabotaged the huge lead we had to start the 4th. And it wasn't just one guy. I think every one of the five bench guys either missed a shot, threw the ball away, or had an offensive foul in that stint. Terrible.

- KAT pretty much did what ever he wanted in this game. There was one play he was driving to the hoop and got a little clumsy with the ball. He had to go retrieve it in the corner, then paused for a second before proceeding to swish a 3. We saw some of his post game tonight too.

- Wiggins with an efficient game, which is refreshing after a bit of a rough stretch. I also thought he made some excellent kick out passes off of dribble drives.

- Butler is still trying to find his way offensively. You can tell he just isn't as natural of a scorer as KAT or Wiggins. He seems like a power back that needs a lot of touches to really get it going offensively. But that isn't going to happen here, so he's doing the best he can to play facilitator. His outside shot looks like crap so far....He does a lot of other good stuff though.

- This is the third or fourth game where Teague gets off to a sloppy start. Just some bad turnovers early.

- Bjelly's 3-point shot. Whoa. He will regress to the mean, but enjoy it while it lasts. I don't know why he's not on the floor more.

- Taj has earned his $ so far. There, I said it. "So far" being the key word. He can play small ball which Gorgui really can't do. Tonight was a great example of that, as he was guarding Barnes for a stint when Dallas went small and he was playing the 4. His rebounding has been terrific as well.

6-3 and 4 straight wins. That's heady stuff for this franchise! Tomorrow will be a much stiffer test.

Taj has been great. Exactly what we needed. D is improving every game.

Yeah, he does a ton of things that don't necessarily show up in the boxscore. He seems to have a knack for getting control of loose basketballs and then getting the ball to the teammate in best position to exploit the D. Really like his hustle and glasswork.

Yeah, Taj is stepping in to help fill the loss of my two favorite "lovable" players, Rubio and Zach.

I watched the game live last night, but chose to do do some model railroading instead of the GDT...
