Wolves vs Clippers- Replacement players GDT

Post by FNG »

I mean really...this is starting to feel like the NFL season with replacement players. Tonight the Wolves will be resting their 2 best players, and the Clippers will be missing their two best players plus 7 others! We are all big Wolves fans here, but the fact that we had no posts in the GDT during the game tells you a lot about how interesting these games are right now.

All that said, I'll contradict myself and say I think it's important we win this game tonight. We're still sitting in a play-in position, and the 5 teams currently out of the playoffs have collectively lost 16 games in a row. The NBA schedulers have shown us they want us to make the playoffs, and the 5 bottom feeders seem to also want us to make it as they keep losing. But if we can't beat a team missing 9 players, what does that say about us? Ant needs to show up tonight, because we need to beat this wounded team.

Agree FNG. We knew this would be a tough stretch - made all the tougher with KAT and DLO out - so the expectation is to "hang around", so to speak. We do have OKC, @OKC, Houston, and @NOP coming up. If we can win 3 out of those 4, I'd be pleased. Then things get tough as hell again until the month of February.

He's been bad since his return from Covid but Pat Bev has been phenomenal tonight even though his shot is still not falling.

10 dimes midway through 3rd and has held Bledsoe to 1 point after he just went off for 25+ points in there last game against the nets.

Jaylen Nowell might be the most perplexing basketball player I've ever watched.

Just made a sweet behind the back left hand finish.

Then on wide open 3 he barley grazed the rim

Prince has been fantastic. Hopefully this is a sign of something good in the future

This Wolves team is different. With everything going on we have no business being this close to 500. Fun to watch.

Really hard to beat this team if Beasley and McDaniels go 7-13 from the 3 point line
