Wolves need to up the defensive intensity if they want to win this one. It's been lacking practically all game.

No big deal? This is a damn team that doesn't know what the playoffs are. No damn excuse for this type of play.

Correct. No big deal, this team has played its ass off this year. Nothing going to get discouraged with one dud where they are still in the game

This happens all the time in the NBA, its frustrating but no big deal

Yeah, Minnesota came out flat and haven't found the juice. It happens sometimes on the road and New Orleans has played decent ball the last couple of weeks regardless of what their record says. Plenty of time for the Wolves to correct themselves, though.

Yeah I disagree. I don't think defense and effort should ever be optional.

I agree that it shouldn't be optional, especially for guys getting paid millions, but it's not realistic to expect great effort/energy every night for most. And good energy isn't enough at the pro level.

My best comparison is this. Have you ever gone to the gym and felt sluggish? Like you end up getting through the workout, but you know it wasn't a great workout? Either your body wasn't feeling right or you were mentally off? It happens to the best of us. That's what happens sometimes in the NBA. Minnesota came out flat tonight and New Orleans has been the hungrier team so far.

Wolves have gotten as close as five recently. The lead sits at seven. They're still very much in this game. Need some disciplined defense and smart offensive possessions to finish.
