Do Jaylen Nowell. When I watch him, I like a lot of what I see from him on defense, but his metrics are consistently bad. So he's a tough one for me to evaluate. Can he play defense?
FNG, I have to admit I haven't focused much on him on the defensive end. Let me put it this way: As you know, defense is a lot about effort and energy. In my opinion Jaylen puts twice as much energy into his offensive game, than he does his defensive. He's about getting buckets, earning minutes, and playing for his next contract. He could probably be decent at defense, but he has some physical limitations along with his questionable focus. Sometimes it takes a player several years before he realizes winning requires equal parts focus at each end. He isn't there yet.
