I don't know how Chris Finch could go away from those two considering how well they've played over the last couple of weeks.

1: Patrick Beverley / Jaylen Nowell
2: D'Angelo Russell / Malik Beasley
3: Anthony Edwards / Jaden McDaniels
4: Jarred Vanderbilt / Nathan Knight
5: Karl-Anthony Towns / Naz Reid

I think those are the 10 guys that should play every night for the Wolves given the current roster. That means that Jordan McLaughlin, Josh Okogie, and Taurean Prince should be used situationally. I also think Greg Monroe, if he's kept around, should be matchup-dependent.

I think Knight gets really small minutes for now, even though I really like his development. I dont see how you would cut Jaden out of significant minutes based on how much Finch loves him and his improvement over the last 10 games. I think Nowell has absolutely earned more time.

Fair point. Jaden McDaniels has definitely been better over the last stretch of games. I don't think anyone benefited more from the COVID protocols than McDaniels and Jaylen Nowell. They've excelled with more opportunities and frankly they've been a big reason why this Wolves team has remained competitive lately.

My only push back would be that Nathan Knight makes a real impact on the glass, which is why I think he needs about 10-15 minutes every night. We might actually be in agreement depending on our definition of small minutes. His activity and size at the four makes a difference, in my opinion, especially when Jarred Vanderbilt subs out.

Yeah, generally agree with the top 9 guys. The one that I think Finch flexes is the 10th guy. Monroe, Knight, Okogie, and Prince will all be competing for minutes in that 10th spot and a lot of it will be situational. But it does feel like Nowell has earned a regular rotation spot, despite his head-scratching shooting inconsistency from beyond the arc.

This recap said that Michael Beasley hit a 3 in the game. I haven't been paying attention the last few weeks but I'm pretty sure he isn't with the team right?! Lol #skittles

That's funny - easy slip of the tongue, but you'd think an AP reporter would get it right.

Monster, you're missing out on some compelling story-lines for this Wolves team. The road has not been smooth, but its a pretty fun team to watch.

You need to be paying attention, monster, because you're missing some interesting developments. Yes, Beas hit that three, but what is rally promising for this team is the emergence of Derrick Williams and Ndudi Ebi. If they keep lighting it up, we might be looking at home court advantage in the first round of the playoffs.

I thought Derrick Williams was taking January off to ensure he doesn't get injured before the All-Star game?
