Thibs Debut for the Knicks

Post by Coolbreeze44 »

The Knicks gave up a lot of points for a Thibs coached team. The interesting thing to me is no one on the Knicks played more than 35 minutes, and he used 12 players. Could this be a changed Thibs?

Too early to say, coolbreeze. Thibs has been quite consistent in his philosophies over many decades, right or wrong, so my first guess would be no. I think it's more that he has a much different roster than he had here with no real stars in NY. I suspect he's auditioning to see who his best 8 are, and then he'll ride them to as many victories as he can. I don't see them having much success this year though.

IDK Barrett Randle and Burks played plenty in a blowout loss.

I expect him to test the waters for about 10 games, find who he likes, and play a 7 man rotation.
