I'm surprised his value didn't drop because this was probably what we figured he'd be looking at before his off the court stuff came up.
Before all the off the court stuff, I think we woulda looked at 4/$60 as our limit in terms of what we'd match.
I think bringing him back absolutely necessitates a Culver trade of some sort, but as I've been saying during his ordeal, keep the talent. The skill set is there. If there's punishment coming from the league, this team can withstand it.
I guess many of you will say we overpaid and that they shoulda let him go and I already know you guys find this collection of talent to not warm your hearts. I say to hell with it. Something has to give in terms of balance, sure, but this is only gonna be a bad deal if he forgets how to shoot 3's.
