Damn, now we gotta avoid that silver bullet in the finals. Big men. Our only weakness. How did they know?

I kept saying he was gonna get paid and we would have no chance at getting him but wow.

Bertans and Harris getting huge deals tells you how much shooting is valued.

Jarred Vanderbilt it is. Minnesota won't be winning the rebounding margin very much next year.

I don't see the Knicks making him an offer since their front court is already pretty crowded and I think they'll be saving their cap space for bigger fish next year. Wood seems like a perfect fit for Charlotte and I would think they'd make him an offer above the MLE level. Otherwise, it's really up to Detroit and whether they want to use their Bird rights to bring him back at an amount over the MLE.
If I were Rosas, I'd offer Wood the full MLE for the max number of years and see if Detroit matches. Otherwise, here are the free agents I'd consider, understanding the some of these would not appeal to Rosas and others are not realistic options at the MLE level):
Hassan Whiteside
Serge Ibaka*
Tristin Thompson (Long shot)
Jae Crowder
Montrezl Harrell (Not realistic)
Frank Kaminsky
Alex Len
Jacob Poeltl
Dario Sari (Phoenix might match, but is he worth MLE?)
Rondeau Hollis-Jefferson
Willie Cayley-Stein
Harry Giles
Nerlens Noel
Derrick Jones Jr. (Long shot. Miami likely to keep him. Is he worth MLE?)
DerMarre Carroll
Jeff Green
Jerian Grant (Not realistic)
I've identified in parenthesis the FAs who are not realistic targets for the Wolves or are at least major long shots. Otherwise, I think the others are all realistic possibilities at the full MLE or less. Some bring more size or defense while others are more in line with the stretch big and outside shooting Rosas seems too prefer.
Of all the realistic alternatives, I would think that Kaminsky might be the one Rosas would prefer because of his perimeter shooting. On the other hand, knowing Rosas, he's focused on his guy H-Gomez. But I need to stop trying to get inside Gersson's head.
Fun stat: Juancho has a better career 3 point percentage than Kaminsky. I don't want to pay either guy all that much but I might prefer the moderate and even somewhat unlikely potential of Juancho. Heck just keep Spellman instead of signing Kaminsky or just play Naz Reid instead even at PF. Is
What about a guy like Mo Harkless if he comes fairly cheap?
