Riddle me this: Wig has 20 first half points and made it look easy. We start the 3rd quarter and he is completely removed from the offense. Everything is being run through KAT, Wiggins is getting shade on the perimeter so everything gets funneled to Ricky for shots he couldn't make. It results in a terrible 3rd quarter. Why didn't we continue to run some sets through Wig?

Clutch time FG% stats

Wiggins:42%

Lavine: 36%

Towns: 31%

This is just for this year. They are all bad but people see what they want to see. Lavine and towns in theory are better options but they haven't proved it

I don't disagree but the wolves were doing the same thing in the first half running offense through towns. Wiggins made the correct basketball and Ricky missed shots. Also don't think wiggins was cutting as hard

Wig has been the best clutch time option we've had since he's been here. Again, I can't defend the missed FT's tonight, but there is no one I'd rather see with the ball in his hands in the last 5 minutes.

I don't want to come off 1 sided so wiggins has shot 60% from the line in clutch situations (not including 1 for 4 tonight) like they are all not good but people arguing he is unclutch might be right but he is the best of the unclutch players. (Towns is 1 of 10 from 3 in clutch situations this year)

Your definition of clutch is not mine. I've seen Wiggs miss lots of game on the line shots or free throws and so he's not clutch to me. If you think otherwise, that's your prerogative, but I honestly want to see KAT, Lavine or Gorgui take that last shot.

The thing I'm maddest about is that Wig didn't soar up and hammer that last shot down. He made a great move to get there, just frickin finish it!

I mean the wolves have hit 1 shot to win/tie a game to bring it to overtime and Wiggins is the only one to hit one this year.
