Don't insult Rubio like that it was bad but not Shved bad. "Shved-bad" that has a fun ring to it eh?

Offensively it seems like he has slowed down a bit. He does have some terrific moves but a lot of this year he has just been on speed it's like I am watching the game on fast forward or something. Lol

Who would ever guess that someone so good at shooting frees would be so terrible at shooting overall?!?

Just saw this little tidbit making its way through the internet......

Ricky Rubio has made 34 consecutive technical foul free throws, dating back to last season. The longest active streak in the NBA.

Again, pretty comical considering how horrible he is shooting the ball otherwise. But if it ain't broke, don't fix it (him shooting the technicals that is).

Rubio has a standstill shot and always has. It's. It surprising that he shoots FTs well. The work he has done on his shot it's more predicable and fluid even though it's flat you expect it to go it. Off the dribble is a different story. Dunn MIGHT have the opposite problem better off the dribble moving and jumping than just standing there shooting. His shot LOOKS better so hopefully that pays off. Would t it be neat if the Wolves could fix a couple guys shots? I know I'm dreaming. Lol

Wolves are 2-1 (and should be 3-0).

He's been much better as of late and so has the team in general. I'm not arguing that he's the most valuable player on the team or anything crazy, but him playing close to his normal self definitely makes a difference.

Let's face it. Thibs has adjusted somewhat and is having him run more plays. I'm OK with mixing it up - and in fact I think it's a GOOD thing we mix it up now and again - but as long as Ricky is the starting PG, it's a waste to just park him in the corner. Good things tend to happen when he is more actively utilized.

I saw a few of the highlights from the game, including a backdoor baseline cut by Wiggins that led to an easy dunk off a Rubio feed; a slip to the basket on a post-up overplay that KAT converted into any easy basket; and a quick outlet to a sprinting LaVine for a fast-break dunk. There wasn't a single dribble required by the recipient in any of these plays! Love it!

The funny thing is that I've seen plenty of times Rubio running up the court deferring to either Lavine or Wiggins in regular game play. Tonight I saw Rubio doing a lot of work off the ball setting screens. I've seen him do that in years past also. Like I said before him playing with ball dominate scorers is not really new to him he did it a lot in the international game whether with Rudy Fernadez or with Juan Carlos Navarro. I know Jon K who is a big Rubio fan and seems pretty close to Rubio has said it's been tough on Rubio early but what if things do start to click and this team starts winning and he and Thibs connect? I do the think there is and has been an adjustment period but as I said in Lip's game report thread it looks to me like Thibs has some legit trust in Rubio. Thibs will tell at him to "take em" and Rubio has actually attacked some of those times where it's actually somewhat advantageous for him to attack more like he is going to score. The last few games have been an interesting evolution for Rubio in a few subtle ways but regardless he is playing better on both ends of the court and it's fun to see and it certainly helps the team.

Good observation, Cam. No surprise. When Ricky is healthy and playing his proper role on the team, the team does much better. That's proven out statistically ever since he's been here. Like Q, I agree it's ok to mix it up once in a while and have either Zach or Andrew (mainly Zach) initiating the offense, but so long as Ricky is on this roster there's no question we're much better as a team with him healthy and running the offense. Ricky's rebounding and steals enhance his value to the team. I think his rebounding is grossly underestimated. He has a great nose for the ball and is often the only one who tracks down loose balls. Having a top rebounding PG in our starting lineup is a particularly big deal for the Wolves given the subpar rebounding of Zach and Andrew.

My only significant critism of Wiggins is those long 2's. Some of them I think are good shots but some I think I could live without. The thing that's tough is...he can legitamatly make them. I think his defense has been better lately also. I love Cool's passion about Wiggins game like he said we have to remeber we are all on the same side. This board is terrific I appreciate all of you. Hopefully we get more wins to complain about. :)

He just had a mild case of Shveditis. Nothing a good Shvedectomy can't cure.

Rubio just has to look in the mirror and tell that self to "change your face".
