he also had a pretty emphatic fist bump when Zach hit that 3 to put us up by 7 I think late in the 4th, I dunno if Thibs had a woman over last night or if he got in Hill's stash like Kiwi said but he seemed to be trying be damn hard not to give off a giddy vibe the latter half of the 4th lol

also I was cracking up when THibs was yelling walk! fucking walk! when a sun traveled late in the 4th he is so damn loud you can see people sitting behind him laughing

That is hilarious. I gotta believe his own players are some times giggling a little bit at his antics. I mean, how does a ref even decide when to call a technical on Thibs? He's constantly yelling and swearing at them.

A fist bump! That all but confirms my suspicions.

I know people think that is funny, but though little things paint the great picture.

Thibs is hilarious. Even watching on TV all you can hear is him barking and grunting. Like a Neanderthal defending his cave from an wanted guest.

Anybody know if he barked all game long when he was coaching the Bulls. I don't remember him doing that.

KiwiMatt wrote:Sorry Lip couldn't help but laugh about the 'pat on the back' paragraph. You should start taking a season home game telly of how many pats on the back each player gets from Thibs. I think Zach is leading with 2 with Ricky hot on his tail with 1. First to 10 wins (although we could go well into next season at this rate)!

No need to apologize, Matt. I think it's hilarious that a pat on the back is a major sighting with Thibs. I think I will take you up on your suggestion to keep a running tally. :)

Thibs really needs to start getting high. Can't think of anyone more deserving of a medical prescription.

Did anyone else see the quote from a few days ago that Thibs that he gives Wiggins a hug every day?

Lip I have been thinking about Thibs and Rubio a bit the last couple games. For one thing I think Rubio looks more comfortable doing the things he does and doing what he is being asked to do playing off the ball. Notice lately Thibs has gone back to Rubio when the game matters. I tend to think Thibs values Rubio quite a bit.

One thing I noticed was when it come to Bazz in this game was on that one transition possession Bazz pulled up for a long 2 and when Thibs called a time out soon after it looked like he was yelling at Bazz about that play and Bazz like you have said just walked past him. To me that doesn't mean Bazz ignores Thibs in a bad way he seems to have always kinda had that way about him but I don't think it's him being out of line it's just kinda a personality thing. The really interesting thing was guess who was back out on the floor after that timeout? Bazz and he stayed through his usual rotation. Bazz had a couple of his bad shots but he also had a few passes when he usually would have chucked up a shot. What I was impressed with was his defense bit on his man and his team defense. He has come a long way.
