The Nets pick

Post by kekgeek »

Now I don't think it will happen because they are up 5 games on the Wizards but the Nets pick the wolves got is lotto protected (becomes 2 2nds if they are in the lotto). But now Kyrie is out for the year. Wouldn't that be the wolves luck

I was thinking the same thing, Kekgeek. That would be Wolves sort of luck.

Honestly I think they might be better off. Players might be extra motivated to show him up after his comments to the media earlier in the season.

Good thing the East sucks in the 7-8 playoff range and they will probably make the playoffs anyways. Washington is 5 games back of them and Washington is not good themselves. Kyrie missed a bunch of time this year so I think they'll pretty much be the same down the stretch and make it.

The Nets are still pretty talented without Kyrie. if they don't have some other big injury I wouldn't worry about it too much. I don't think it would be that terrible to have it go another year even if its a lower pick in 2021 because at least then we would have a pick that year.
